Cleburne News
Mr. Eli J. Lambert, 51 years old, passed away November 2 after an illness of one 
month. Mr. Lambert made his home in Macedonia. The Funeral Services were 
conducted by the Rev. Lewis Morris and Rev. Lipscomb at the Pilgrim's Rest No. 2 
Baptist Church at 2 o'clock, Sun-cay, November 4. Burial was in the adjacent 
cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Dryden Funeral Home. Mr. 
Lambert's survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Poore of Blue Mountain; 
one sister, Mrs. Lou Emma Roland, Anniston; two half- brothers, E. B. Teague and 
L. B. Teague of Heflin; and one stepbrother, Jim Lambert of of Heflin; also, 
several nieces and nephews.
