Mrs. Martha Key Lambert, 72, of Heflin, Rt. 1, died Monday at Wedowee Hospital 
after a long illness. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest 
Baptist Church with the Rev. G. D. Waits, the Rev. Louis Morris and the Rev. 
Hugh Pesnell officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. Survivors include three sons, 
Radford Lambert of Newell, William Lambert of Oxford and Tracy Lambert of Oxford 
two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Forman and Mrs. Florence Deese of Heflin; a sister, 
Mrs. Dura Freeman of Oxford; four brothers, Bill Key of Oxford, Frank Key of 
Anniston, Robert Key of Florida and Clifford Key of California; 17 
grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Lambert was a lifelong 
resident of Randolph County. She. was a homemaker and a member of Pilgrim Rest 
Baptist Church. The body will remain at the residence of Mrs. Florence Deese, 
Heflin, Rt. 1, until the time of services.
