Lineville Headlight
A fifteen-year-old boy named Langley, while in bathing, was drowned at Wilbun 
Ferry on the Tallapoosa River about five miles from this place on Sunday, May 
28th. George Taylor went to his rescue, but his strength not being sufficient on 
account of his physical infirmities had to abandon the attempt having nearly 
drowned himself. Young Langley was buried at Sweet Water cemetery Monday.
