Roanoke Leader
Hulan Lovvorn Lashley, age 42, Roanoke Rt. 3, passed away in a LaGrange hospital 
at nine o'clock Saturday night, Aug. 9. Mr. Lashley is survived by his wife; 
three sons, Wilmer, Robert, and Jimmy Lashley of Roanoke Rt. 3; one daughter, 
Miss Brenda Gayle Lashley of Roanoke Rt. 3; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. 
Lashley of Wadley Rt 1; one brother, Charlie Lashley of LaGrange; two sisters, 
Mrs. Clifford Brown of Malone and Mrs. Marney Yarbrough of Atlanta. Funeral 
services for Mr. Lashley were conducted Monday afternoon at three o'clock from 
the Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. G. G. Gravett and the Rev. Charlie 
Jordan officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, Quattlebaum's Funeral 
Home in charge of funeral arrangements
