Services for John Robert Lashley, 75, of Wadley, Rt. 1, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. 
at New Hope West Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Young and the Rev. Zenus 
Windsor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Quattlebaum's 
Brown-Service Mortuary of Roanoke in charge. Mr. Lashley died Sunday at Randolph 
County Hospital in Roanoke. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Alice Brewer 
and Mrs. Lottie Pilgrim, both of Roanoke, and Mrs. Hazel Calhoun of Auburn; three 
sons, James Lashley, Bobby Lashley and Herman Lashley, all of Wadley; a sister, 
Mrs. Ruby Pugh of Tuscaloosa; a brother, Bill Lashley of Wadley; 12 grandchildren 
and 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
