Services for Mrs. Lena Ruth Lashley, 71, of Wadley, Rt. 1, were today at New 
Hope West Baptist Church near Cragford with the Rev. Johnny Young and the Rev. 
Zenus Windsor officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum 
Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Lashley died Wednesday at Randolph County Hospital. 
Survivors include her husband, John R. Lashley; three daughters, Mrs. Alice 
Brewer of Roanoke, Mrs. Lottie Pilgrim of Roanoke and Mrs. Hazel Calhoun of 
Wadley; three sons, James Lashley, Herman Lashley and Bobby Lashley, all Wadley; 
three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Pike of Alexander City, Mrs. Eunice Childers of Mellow 
Valley and Mrs. Kattie Muller of Rochester, N.Y.; three brothers, Earl Worthy of 
Millerville, Clyde Worthy Fairfax and Clemmon Worthy of Mellow Valley; 12 
grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
