Services for Willie Everett "Bill" Lashley, 80, of Wadley were today at 2 p.m. at 
Almond First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial 
was in New Hope West Baptist Cemetery, Cragford, with Benefield Funeral Home of 
Wedowee in charge. Mr. Lashley died Sunday at Randolph County Hospital. Survivors 
include his wife, Ann A. Lashley of Wadley; a son, Vernon Lashley of Wadley; a 
sister, Ruby Pugh of Tuscaloosa; and two grandchildren, Matthew Lashley and 
William Lashley, both of Wadley. A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. 
Lashley. was a World War II veteran, a retired farmer and a member of Almond 
First United Methodist Church.
