Funeral services for Mrs. Francis Lindley, 84. who died Friday at her home in 
Randolph County were held yesterday at 2 p. m. at Union Hill Church, with the 
Rev. Hoyt Lybrand. the Rev. J. P. Bean, and the Rev. O. S. Sheets officiating. 
Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lindley is survived by two sons, J. P. 
and Jack Lindley; six daughters, Mrs. Will Craft. Mrs. J. P. Holmes, Mrs. Grady 
Boggs, Mrs. Lee Higgins and Misses Ester and Ezra Lindley; 42 grandchildren, 81 
great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were: 
Cecil Lindley, Roy Lindley, Clarence Boggs, Alford Craft. Archie Waters, and 
Warren Holmes. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Union Hill Church.
