Services for David Lindley, 78, of Delta, Rt. 1, formerly of Randolph County, 
were today at Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Billy 
Todd, the Rev. Gordon Taylor and the Rev. Dorsey White officiating. Burial will 
be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. 
Mr. Lindley died Tuesday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors Include his wife, 
Mrs. Levis Lindley of Delta; a daughter, Mrs. Sybil Lambert of Pascagoula, 
Miss.; a son, Leldon Lindley of Jasper; a sister, Mrs. Linnie Gulledge of 
Spartanburg, S.C.; three brothers, Wiley Lindley of Waldo, Fla., Sylvester 
Lindley of Lisbon, N.C., and Horace Lindley of Barfield; four grandchildren and 
a great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Sherell Bean, Gary Bean, Baron Luker, 
Donnie Walker, Gaither Neal and Cecil Lindley. Mr. Lindley, formerly of Double 
Springs, was a veteran of World War II and a member of Wesley's Chapel Christian 
Church
