Services for Miss Ester Era Lindley, 79, of Wedowee, were today at 2 p.m. at 
Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Ernest Upturn and the 
Rev. Leron Murphy officiating and Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charges 
Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. Miss Lindley died Sunday at Regional 
Medical Center. Survivors include a brother, J.P. Lindley of Wedowee; three 
sisters, Mrs. Ezra Lancaster, Mrs. Evie Holmes and Mrs. Zora Higgins, all of 
Wedowee; and several nieces and Pallbearers were nephews. Miss Lindley was a 
lifelong resident of Randolph County. She was a homemaker and a member of Union 
Hill Congregational Methodist Church.
