Anniston Star
Services for Daniel Frank "Cowboy" Lindley, 74, of Heflin were Sunday at Gray 
Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev James W. Cavender officiating. Burial was in 
Sellers Cemetery in Randolph County with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. 
Mr. Lindley died Friday in Stringfellow Hospital after a long illness. Survivors 
include his wife, Mrs. Martha Lindley of Heflin; three, sisters, Mrs. Beulah 
Tommie and Mrs. Lela Huddleston, both of Anniston, and Mrs. Rhoda Cone of Butler, 
N. C.; and two brothers, Taft Lindley of Anniston and Jack Lindley of Friendship; 
Nephews were pallbearers. Mr. Lindley was a native of Randolph County and a 
resident of Cleburne County for the past 18 years. He was a member of Union Hill 
Congregational Methodist Church of Randolph County.
