Raonoke Leader
Mr. Richard N. Lipham died at his home here early Tuesday morning after an ill 
ness of only a few days. Mr. Lip ham and family moved to Wedowee almost 20 years 
ago. Had the deceased lived until November 16th he would have been 70 years of 
age. Uncle Rich, as he was known to his many friends, was loved and esteemed by 
all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at Valley Grove Wednesday morning 
at 10 o'clock. The deceased is survived by his widow, five sons, two daughters 
and 17 grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Children surviving are 
Messrs. W. B. Lipham, Ray Lipham, Misses Rosa and Ola, all of Wedowee; Mr. John 
Lipham, of Birmingham, Mr. Ezra Lipham, of Cragford, and Mr. Dave Lipham, of 
Oxford.
