Anniston Star
David Franklin Lipham, age 69, of Newell, died Saturday morning, July 28, at 8:30 
in Anniston Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Jane 
Lipham, of Newell; four daughters: Mrs. Cinda Hill, Mrs. Elmer Vowell, and Mrs. 
Ella Stewart, of Newell, and Mrs. Minda Haynes, of Wedowee; two sons: Joe Lee and 
Dallis L. Lipham, both of Newell, and two brothers: Cephus Lipham, of Newell, and 
Bill Lipham, of Anniston. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon At 
Union Church. Interment was in Union cemetery.
