Mrs. Anna Elender Lipham, 76, of Rt. 1. Wedowee, died in a Lineville hospital 
April 12 at 3 00 a. m. Mrs. Lipham was the daughter of the late John E. and 
Eliza Morrison Linville of Randolph County. She was the widow of the late George 
Cephus Lipham. The survivors include two sons, W. N. and J. W. Lipham of 
Wedowee; four daughters, Mrs. Belle McCord of Lineville, Mrs. Thena Stewart of 
Roanoke, and Mrs. Eve Loveless and Mrs. Myrtle Cofield of Delta, Ala.; twenty-
three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Janie 
Williamson of Newell, Mrs. Emma Conger of Roanoke, and Mrs. Nancy Gaston of 
Heflin. Funeral services were held from the Union Baptist Church on April 13. 
with the Rev. Monroe Wiggins and the Rev. D. S. Sheets officiating. Interment 
was in the church cemetery under the direction of Quattlebaum's Funeral Home.
