Roanoke Leader
William David Lipham, age 69, 108 Vine Street, Roanoke, passed away at his home 
about three o'clock Wednesday afternoon, April 15. Mr. Lipham is survived by his 
wife; two daughters, Mrs. T. H. McCord of Wedowee and Mrs. Earl Mitchell of 
Roanoke; four grandchildren; two brothers, Shelley Lipham of Newell and Austin 
Lipham of Wedowee; and one sister, Mrs. J. P. Lindley of Wedowee. Funeral 
services for Mr. Lipham were conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the 
Union Hill Methodist Church by the Rev. Jodie Henderson. Interment was in the 
church cemetery, Quattlebaum's Funeral Home in charge of funeral plans.
