Anniston Star
Mrs. Cynthia Lipham, 98, of First Street, N. W., Wedowee, died Monday at 9:30 
a.m., in a Wedowee hospital. She is survived by five sons, W. B., and Ezra of 
Wedowee, Daniel and Ray of Oxford and L. N. (John) Lipham of Birmingham; two 
daughters, Misses Ola and Rose Lipham of Wedowee; 17 grandchildren and 40 great-
grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m., at Wedowee Baptist 
Church with the Revs. Hal Jacks and Hobart Murphree officiating. Burial was in 
Valley Grove Church Cemetery, with Quattlebaum's Brown charge. Grandsons were 
pallbearers. Mrs. Lipham was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church and 
a lifelong resident of Randolph County.
