Roanoke Leader
Mr. Archie Thomas Lipham, age 73, Wedowee Rt. 1, passed away at his home about 
noon Sunday, Nov. 30. Mr. Lipham is survived by his wife; two sons, Curtis Lipham 
of Lineville and Ernest Lipham of Wedowee; two grandchildren; three brothers, 
Dave Lipham of Roanoke, Shelley Lipham of Newell, and Austin Lipham of Wedowee; 
one sister, Mrs. Lydia Lindley of Wedowee. Funeral services for Mr. Lipham were 
conducted Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the Union Hill Methodist Church 
with the Rev. Oscar Sheets, the Rev. Grady Bishop, and the Rev. Dave Craft 
officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Quattlebaum's Funeral Home was 
in charge of funeral plans.
