Services for Mrs. Bennie B. Lipham, 93, of Roanoke will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. 
at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Jay Knight and the Rev. Bob Lee 
officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral 
Home in charge. The body will be at the church an hour before services. Mrs. 
Lipham died Monday at Traylor Nursing Home in Roanoke. Survivors include two 
sons, George D. Lipham of Rome, Ga. and Jessie B. Lipham of Lanett; two sisters, 
Mrs. Luna Hardy of Wadley and Mrs. Jessie Johnson of Eclectic; a brother, George 
Hubert Shaddix of Lanett; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers 
will be Ronnie Lipham, Floyd French, Vertis Baldwin, Franklin Shaddix, Velpo 
Lipham and Nayland Lipham. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Lipham was the 
daughter of the late George and Mattie Round tree Shaddix. She was had lived in 
Roanoke since 1951 and was a member of Southside Baptist Church, the Eastern 
Star and the WMU.
