C. Lipham, 60, of Wedowee, Rt 1, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Monroe Wiggins, the Rev. Ray Runyan and the Rev. Louie Olds officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee in charge. Mr. Lipham died Sunday at Lee County Hospital in Opelika after a long illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mattie Lipham of Wedowee; a son, Charles Lipham of Anniston; his father, H. Austin Lipham of Munford; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lee Smith of Alexandria City and Mrs. Minnie Mae Cottle of Roanoke; two brothers, Leonard Lipham of Wedowee and Olen Lipham of Oxford; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Woodrow Crews, Lee Chapple, Clatis Coster, R. S. Johnson, Ode Cofield and Byrd Stewart. Mr. Lipham was a native of Randolph County and a retired employe of the Calhoun County Road Department. He was a member of Jordans Chapel CME Church. The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services and will remain at the church for one hour.
