Julian Murphy, the Rev. Leron Murphy and the Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 6 tonight. The body will be at the church an hour before services. Mr. Lipham died Wednesday at University Hospitals in Birmingham. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vivian Lipham of Newell; a daughter, Mrs. Lonette Daniel of Newell; a son, Roger B. Lipham of Newell; a sister, Mrs. Laura Wilkerson of Dallas; two brothers, Frank Lipham of Wedowee and J.C. Lipham of Fort Worth, Texas; seven grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Darson Waters, Junior Gosdin, Loveless Cofield, Russell Rollins, Phil Chasse and Grady Wakefield. A Randolph County native, Mr. Lipham was a farmer and worked as a heavy equipment operator for the city of Bynum and Randolph County. He was a deacon at Jordans Chapel Congregational Methodist Church.
