OBITUARIES:

Robert C. Lovvorn

   (WOODLAND) Robert C. Lovvorn, age 77, of Woodland, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 
1985, at Tanner Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Ga., after an extended illness.
   Mr. Lovvorn was a lifelong resident of Randolph County, a farmer, and a 
member of Herren's Grove Baptist Church, Heaton Masonic Lodge No. 354, and 
Woodmen of the World.
   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margie Lovvorn of Woodland; two daughters, 
Mrs. Barbara Holloway of Bowdon, Ga., and Mrs. Polly Harris of Woodland; four 
grandchildren; and one brother, H. E. Lovvorn of Woodland.
   Funeral services for Mr. Lovvorn were held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at 
Herren's Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ridley Farmer and the Rev. Ray 
Runyan officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
   Pallbearers were Tommy Lovvorn, William Lovvorn, Steve Meadows, David 
Johnson, Joe Stewart, and Tommy Herren.
   Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee was in charge of the arrangements.
