Lovvorn, 41, of Newell, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Pine Hill Church of Christ in Randolph County, the Revs. 0. D. David Giles, Hal Simpson and Ray Runyon officiating. Wynn-Stutts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Ima D. Lovvorn; one son, Ronald; four daughters, Janet, Martha Lynn, Panela, and Susan, all of Newell; six sisters, Miss Geneva Lovvorn and Mrs. Wheeler Holmes of Newell, Mrs. C. D. Bailey of Yucaita. Calif., Mrs. Wade Traylor and Mrs. Earnest Johnson of Graham, and Mrs. Sterling Wilson of Bremen, Ga.; three brothers, Tom of Powder Springs, nephews. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Lovvorn was a member of Pine Hill Church of Christ, VFW Post of Wedowee and the Quarterback Club of Woodland. He had been an employee of the Anniston Army Depot since October 1951. At the time of his death, he was a foreman in the Production Division, Directorate for Maintenance.
