OBITUARIES:

Gwin L. Luker

   (DELTA RT. 1) Funeral services for Gwin L. Luker, age 73, of Rt. 1, Delta, 
Ala., were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 1987 at Center West Baptist 
Church, with the Rev. Larry Cosper and the Rev. Dorsey White officiating.  
Burial was in the church cemetery.
   Mr. Luker died Saturday, March 7, at Beckwood Manor Nursing Home in 
Anniston. He was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, a retired 
farmer, and a Baptist.
   He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Merl Greene and Mrs. Gail Williamson, 
both of Oxford, Mrs. Jean McDanell of LaCanada, Calif., and Mrs. Lavern Shelton 
of Decatur; one son, Wayne Luker of Delta; one sister, Mrs. Ida Lindsey of 
Hueytown; one brother, O. G. Luker of Lanett, and eight grandchildren.
   Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.
   Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville was in charge of arrangements.
