Anniston Star
Services for Mrs. Mae D. Luker, 85, of Delta, were today at Wesley Chapel 
Congregational Christian Church with Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. Burial was 
in the adjoining church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in 
charge. Mrs. Luker died Monday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include two 
sons, Bobby Joe Luker of Delta and Billy Luker of Oxford; five grandchildren; and 
eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Henry Davis, William Keith Luker, 
Phillip Luker, Bayron Luker, Keith Luker and Daryl Luker. A Clay County native, 
Mrs. Luker was a housewife and a member of Wesley Chapel Congregational Christian 
Church.
