M. CAUSEY, brought here from Atlanta last week dangerously ill, died Saturday [3 Oct 1908] evening at the home of her grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. MANLEY. The little one was about a year and a half of age, and her death is a sad blow to the fond parents and other relatives. Very touching funeral services were held at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev George STOVES. Very many sympathetic friends were present. [Interment was in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke] ----------- R. M. CAUSEY was called [from Atlanta] to Roanoke Sunday by the death of his child.
