Anniston Star
Services for Miss Lessie Maddox, 82, of Delta, were Saturday at Union Hill 
Methodist Church with Jackson-Brock Funeral Home of Ashland in charge. Burial was 
in the adjoining cemetery. Miss Maddox died Thursday at Carraway Methodist 
Hospital in Birmingham. Survivors include a brother, Arlie Maddox of Pisgah and 
several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Roy Sheppard, Terry Sheppard, Don 
Sheppard, Willard Fuller, Jerry Paul Stephens and Sylvia Maddox. Miss Maddox was 
a native of Randolph County and a member of Union Hill Methodist Church.
