Anniston Star
Final Services held for the Infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Maddox of 
Oxford, died yesterday at Anniston Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were 
conducted at 11 a.m. at the Christina Baptist Church in Clay County. Burial was 
in the adjoining cemetery, Usrey directing. Survivors include the parents, and 
the grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Maddox. of Delta, and Mrs. Louisa Waldrep. 
of Lineville.

Additional Comments:
Note: Family members have always stated the child was male, and he was buried in 
a little blue suit. 

Note: It is Christiana Randolph County not Clay County. 

The child was born dead and unnamed.

The grave is unmarked.
