Services for Mrs. Conie B. Maddox, 94, of Delta, Rt. 1, will be Thursday at 11 
a.m. at Zion Church of God with the Rev. Gordon Taylor, the Rev. Billy Saxon and 
the Rev. Thomas Owen officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Congregational 
Methodist Church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. 
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight and Thursday at the funeral 
home, where the body will be until services. Mrs. Maddox died Tuesday at her 
residence. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eulene White and Mrs. Etheleen 
M. Sheppard, both of Delta; two sons, Sylvia Gay Maddox and Perry Quinton 
Maddox, both of Delta; eight grandchildren,15 greatgrandchildren and a great 
greatgrandchild. Pallbearers will be Steve McDonald, Chris White, Curtis Wade 
Maddox, Stanley Clark, Tom Talley and Roger Hammock.  Mrs. Maddox was native and 
resident of Randolph County, a housewife and member of Zion Church of God.
