Mann (CORONADO, CA.) Hoyt Dobbs Mann, 63, of Coronado, Ca., a native of Roanoke, died on Thursday, April 3, 1975, in a Coronado hospital following a heart attack. A graduate of Handley High School in Roanoke and of the U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md., he had a 34-year career in the Navy, retiring in 1966 with the rank of captain. He served aboard the carrier Lexington during World War II. Funeral services were held in Coronado at 10 o’clock Monday Morning. Capt. Mann is survived by his wife, the former Mildred Gilliland of Roanoke, two daughters, and his mother, Mrs. W. J. Mann, all of Coronado; and by two sisters, Mrs. Sara Johnson of Ft. Myers, Fl., and Mrs. Virginia Woodham of Roanoke. The sisters, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Woodham, went to Coronao because of the death of their brother, and their plans are to bring their mother back to Roanoke with them in a few days. __________ Additional Comments: [Hoyt Dobbs Mann is the son of William J.
