H. L. Mashburn. 21. was drowned late last night, when the automobile in which he 
was riding with J. W. Meredith turned over into Lake Elsie, on the Dixie Highway. 
He was pinned underneath the car. Meredith, who was driving, suffered a broken 
leg, but was otherwise uninjured. Mashburn's body is to be shipped to his family 
home in Roanoke, Ala. He came to Florida but a few weeks ago.
