OBITUARIES:

Charlie B. May

   (ROANOKE) Charlie B. May, age 82, of Rt. 1 Roanoke, died Monday, Feb. 10, 
1986, in Randolph County Hospital, Roanoke.
   Mr. May is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie B. May; two sisters, Mrs. Viola 
Foster of Auburn and Mrs. Myrtie Sherrer of Prattville; and two brothers, 
Robert Smith of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Ted Smith of Auburn.
   Funeral services for Mr. May were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from 
Quattlebaum's Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Albert Holcombe and the Rev. O.C. Reason 
officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.
   Active pallbearers were Fred May, Charles May, Jim McKinney, Jackie 
Holloway, Alan Fetner, and Pete Holloway.
   Honorary pallbearers were Fount Lee Whitten, Mixon Nichols, Rufus 
Eichelberger, Clint Ramsey, W.P. Poore, Benny Satterwhite, and Hulett Prince.
   Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
