OBITUARIES:

Mrs. Elizabeth Hendon May

   (ROANOKE) Mrs. Elizabeth Hendon May, age 24, of 1201 East Main Street, 
Roanoke, died Monday, Aug. 13, 1984, as the result of a boating accident.
   Mrs. May is survived by her husband, Tim May; one daughter, Megan Elizabeth 
May of Roanoke; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Hendon of Roanoke; one brother, 
Tommy Hendon of Roanoke; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Sue Sudduth of 
Roanoke.
   Funeral services for Mrs. May were set for two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, 
Aug. 15, from Roanoke First Baptist Church, the Rev. Jeff Holder and the Rev. 
Don Paulson officiating, with burial in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke.
   Mrs. May was to be in state at her home between four o'clock Tuesday 
afternoon and one o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and then in state at the church 
for one hour before funeral services.
   Pallbearers: Chris Daniel, Johnny Williams, Roger Holton, Lamar Bonner, 
Robbie Robertson, and Keith Morrison.
   Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
