Roanoke Leader
Mr. Charles G. May, aged about 40 years, died Monday at his home a few miles 
north of Roanoke. He had been in impaired health the past twelve months and was 
unable to withstand the attack of pneumonia which overtook him. The remains were 
interred at his home church, Whites Chapel, at 11:00 Tuesday morning. He leaves a 
wife and several children. These, with many friends, mourn the great loss that 
has come to his home and community.
