Anniston Star
Service for Mrs. Cynthia Taylor McCormick 85, of Heflin Rt 1. were today at 
Pilgrim's Rest Baptist church in Randolph County with the Rev. J.D. Bearden and 
the Rev. Steve Dempsey officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. Mrs. McCormick died Sunday at Clay 
County Hospital in Ashland. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Cynthia M. Key of 
Heflin and a brother, Willie Taylor of Newell. Pallbearers were Solon Lee, Pason 
Green, Pascal Barker, Floyd Hill, Charlie Taylor and Danny Taylor. Mrs. McCormick 
was a Randolph County resident, a housewife and a member of Hepsebah Baptist 
Church.
