Anniston Star
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Melissa McCurry, 84, of 1008 Walnut Ave., were 
held at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the Liberty Grove Baptist Church at Wedowee 
with the Rev. Walton Brack officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. 
Colonial Chapel in charge. Mrs. McCurry left 68 survivors including two 
daughters, Mrs. Loma McNeal of Anniston, and Mrs. Fannie Dewberry of Heflin: one 
son, Solomon Fincher of Cullman; one sister, Mrs. Ella Dewberry of Wedowee; 19 
grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. She was 
a member of the Baptist Church for over 45 years.
