Ashland Progress 
Mr. O. P. McDonald, 60, passed away at his home in Talladega on Monday evening, 
October 4th. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon at 
Wesley Chapel in Randolph County. Rev. Dave Craft and Rev. J. B. Marlow 
officiated. He is survived by his wife, a son, Lloyd, of Birmingham; a daughter, 
Mrs. C. E. Wesley, of Talladega; two brothers, two sisters and five 
grandchildren. The deceased lived in this city for several years, where he 
operated a grocery store and has many friends here.
