McDonald Sunday Nov 21, where the Funeral services were held and the body interred, bespoke the love and esteem of the people of Lanett for this popular young policeman, who died Saturday morning, in the Langdale hospital, as a result of shotgun wounds he received one week before, while attempting to make an arrest. The large group of friends and relatives from Roanoke, Rock Mills, and surrounding territory, also bore witness of Mr. MacDonalds popularity in the communities where he spent his boyhood.
