Mrs. Sara McKay 88 died at 4:55 pm Tuesday at Lafayette Manor Nursing Home 
following a long illness. Funeral will be at 1 pm today at Central Baptist Church 
in Lanett with the Rev Jim Lockwood officiating Burial will be at Harmony 
Methodist Church Cemetery in Newell Ala. Mrs. McKay was born on Oct 11, 1879, in 
Randolph County Ala She was a member of Carroll County Baptist Church Survivors 
include four daughters Mrs. Bessie Costly and Mrs. Nellie Hale both of Shawmut 
Mrs. L. H. Hazelwood and Mrs. Homer Anderson both of Atlanta three sons Marion 
McKay Birmingham Ala, Luther E. McKay West Point Ga and Jessie McKay Cheanuga 
Ga., two sisters Mrs. Evie Wright Wedowee Ala and Mrs. Lula McDowell Roanoke Ala 
26 grandchildren and 39 greatgrandchildren.
