Mrs. Myrtle Swann McLeod, 74, of Ranburne, formerly of Wedowee, died Saturday at 
South Fulton Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. after a short illness. Services will be 
Tuesday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Wedowee, with the Rev. 
Hobart Murphree officiating. Burial will be in Wedowee Masonic Cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee, in charge. Survivors include her husband, Neil 
McLeod; one son, John Griggs Swann of Wedowee; two sisters, Mrs. W. Flanders of 
Soperton, Ga. and Mrs. Fanny Thomas of Hardeeville, S.C. and three grandchildren. 
Mrs. McLeod was a member of First United Methodist Church and a wholesale 
florist. The body will remain at the funeral home until time of services.
