Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Smyrna Baptist Church in Randolph County with the Rev. E. F. Daniel officiating. Burial win be in the adjacent cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary so charge of arrangements. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Eleanor McLeod; one stepson, Nathan Duhl of Dearborn, Mich.; four brothers, Grover of Birmingham, John and Woodrow, both of Newell, and Monroe of Gulf Shores; five sisters, Mrs. F. I. Nolen of Roanoke, Mrs. J. E. Whittman of Anniston, Mrs. D. H. Wright of Wedowee, Mrs. M. L. Garrett of Cullman. and Mrs. E. W. William of Carrollton, Ga., and five grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Grover, Fred, Huford, and Kenneth McLeod, Herbert Cofield, and Nathan Duhl. Honorary pallbearers will be Merton Brooks, Warren Meadows, Dot Teague, George Daniel, Tommy Williams, and, Theodore McCord. He was a former resident of Randolph County and had lived in Detroit for the past 35 years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 539 in Lincoln Park, Mich.
