Bill Fears officiating. Mrs. McMurray died Monday, December 25, at her home. She was a native of Chambers County but had lived most of her life in Roanoke, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ann McMurray Massey of Homewood, Mrs. Jean McMurray Cauthen of Athens, Alabama, Jane McMurray Edwards of Roanoke, and Mrs. Sissy McMurray Logan of Birmingham; two sons, William A. McMurray of Fairhope and Thomas A. McMurray of Roanoke; 20 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren; and one sister, Miss Willie Lee Anglin of Roanoke. Mrs. McMurray was preceeded in death by one son, Jimmy McMurray, and by her husband, Gus McMurray. Pallbearers were Jim Robinson, Jim Murr, Mack Diamond, Mack Rumbley, Charles Vinson and Cecil Brown.
