OBITUARIES:

Mollie S. Meacham

   (NEWELL) Mrs. Mollie S. Meacham, age 93, of Rt. 1 Newell died Monday, Sept. 
22, 1986 at her residence after an extended illness.
   Mrs. Meacham was born in Tallapoosa County, Georgia but moved to Randolph 
County as an infant and lived all her life here.  She was a homemaker and a 
member of Union Baptist Church.
   Mrs. Meacham is survived by three daughters, Miss Ollie Meacham, Miss Mellie 
Meacham and Mrs. Clois Abrams, all of Rt. 1 Newell; two sons, Leroy Meacham of 
Lanett and Tommy Meacham of Rt. 1 Newell; eight grandchildren and 13 great-
grandchildren.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Meacham were at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 
Union Baptist Church with the Rev. James Collier, the Rev. Monroe Wiggins, and 
the Rev. Ray Runyan officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
   Pallbearers for Mrs. Meacham were Jerry Abrams, Terry Weaver, Kenneth 
Freeman, Garland Loveless, Roger Abrams and Harold Fredaiksen.
   Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee was in charge of the arrangements.
