OBITUARIES:

Steve Morgan Meadows

  (WEDOWEE) Funeral services for 29-year-old Steve Morgan Meadows of Wedowee 
were conducted at two o'clock Sunday afternoon, July 29, 1984, at Cogar Hill 
CME Church, Daviston, with the Rev. R.B. Cable, pastor, officiating.
  A native of Chambers County, Mr. Meadows was a member of Cogar Hill Church.
  He is survived by his wife, Bonita Meadows of Ashland; a son and daughter, 
Marvin Gary and Chenita W. Gary, both of Detroit, Mich.; his mother, Bertise 
Thomas of Daviston; one sister, Jennifer B. Richardson of Alexander City; and 
six stepsisters and three stepbrothers.
   Burial was in the church cemetery, with cousins serving as pallbearers and 
as flower-bearers.
   Vines Funeral Home of LaFayette in charge of arrangements.
