Anniston Star
Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 1 p.m. for William C. Messer, who died 
Monday in Piedmont Hospital at the age of 81, The native of Randolph County 
resided at Piedmont, Route Services will be conducted from the Mickelsen Brown- 
Service Mortuary Chapel, with Zeke Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in 
Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery in Randolph County. Survivors include four 
brothers J. C., Eddie and Finnis Messer, all of Piedmont, and Kirk Messer of 
Wedowee, and two sisters, Mrs. E. Y. Hurst of Piedmont and Mrs. Maude Hubbard of 
Munford.
