Services for Mrs. Betty V. Miles, 74, of Lineville, Al. will be 2 p.m. Sunday at 
Benefield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. Burial will 
follow in Dingler's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery with Benefield Funeral 
Home, Lineville in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 
from 5-8 pm tonight until service time Sunday. Mrs. Miles passed away Thursday, 
March 10, 2005, at Baptist Montclair in Birmingham, Al. She was a native of 
Randolph County but had lived most of her life in Clay County. She was a home 
maker and a member of Dingler's Chapel Christian Church. She is Survived by 3 
daughters, Linda Smith, of Lineville, Jackie Davis and her husband James Davis 
of Ashland, Rosie Miles, of Lineville; two sons, William Miles and his wife, 
Geraldine, of Oxford, James Miles and his wife, Donna, of Lineville; 2 sisters, 
Marie Stidham, of Lakeland FL, Pearl Palmer of New Orleans; 2 brothers, Charles 
Mitchell, of Jemison, AL, Junior "Legs" Mitchell of Clinton, AL.; 7 
grandchildren and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steven Miles, Tony 
Miles, Tyson Sexton, Jimmy Miles, Johnny Holcombe and David Miles
