Services for Alvin Richard Miles 53 of Lineville, Rt. 1, were today at 2 p.m. at 
Dingler's Chapel' Christian" Church with the Rev. Gordan Taylor officiating. 
Burial was in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in 
charge.  Mr. Miles died Tuesday at Clay County Hospital in Ashland. Survivors 
include his wife. Mrs. Betty Miles of Lineville. Rt. 1; three daughters. Mrs. 
Linda Harrington, Miss Jackie Miles and Miss Rosie L. Miles, all of Lineville; 
two sons William D. Miles of Cragford and James A: Miles of Lineville, his. 
mother, Mrs. Rosie Gray of Lineville two sisters, Mrs. Eulene Watts and Mrs. 
Patricia Henry, both of Lineville; two brothers, Lonnie Miles and Junior W. 
Miles, both of Lineville; and seven grandchildren.  Pallbearers were James Ei 
mason, James Edmason Jr., James Pinkard, Junior Baker, William Henry and Mark 
Mullaly. Mr. Miles was a Clay County native and a Randolph County resident most 
of his life. He was a wood producer and a member of Dingler's Chapel Christian 
Church.
