Roanoke Leader
Last Thursday evening about two o'clock, while in the field near a plum tree, 
Uncle Jim Mitchell was struck by lightning and was killed instantly. He lived in 
the Oslin Chapel community, about ten miles west of Wedowee.





Additional Comments:
He was the son of Henry F. Mitchell & Jemima F. Smith.
He is buried Auslin's Chapel Cemetery.
