Lineville Headlight
The people of Ofelia witnessed a very sad circumstance last week. The two and 
only children of Mr. and Mrs. William Mitchell died. The younger, 10 months old, 
was taken ill Tuesday and died Friday and the elder, 2 years old, was taken ill 
Monday and died Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell attended services at Mt. Pleasant 
4th Sunday, with possibly no thought that so soon the death angel would visit 
them and take their two children, but ere another Sabbath had gone both their 
children were cold in death. The funerals were conducted Saturday and Sunday by 
Rev. T. J. Preston who was assisted Sunday by Rev. J. H. Hughes, of Dingler. The 
people of Ofelia extend sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell in their bereavement.

They are buried Mt. Prospect/Ofelia.
