Funeral Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Big Springs Baptist Church 
lor, Byron Arthur Mitchell, 41, of Wedowee, Rt. 2, who was killed Saturday in an 
auto mobile accident. The Rev. Hulett Prince officiated, and burial followed in 
the church cemetery. Quattlebaum Brown Service Funeral Home of Roanoke was in 
charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Inez Mitchell; three 
sons, Thurman Mitchell of Roanoke, James B. Mitchell and Roger Mitchell, both of 
Wedowee, Rt. 2., one daughter Mrs. Mavis Treadwell of Roanoke. Rt. 3; parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. George Mitchell of Fife, Ga., four brothers, Jack Mitchell of 
Chattanooga, Tenn., Thomas Mitchell of Midwest City, Okla., Robert Mitchell of 
Columbus, Ga., and Howard Mitchell of Fife, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Wylie Johnson 
of Rainsville, Ga., and Mrs. Dovie Rollins of Roanoke, Rt 3; and one grandchild.
