Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Frances Mitchell, 77, of Roanoke, Route 5, who 
died Monday in Randolph County Hospital, will be held today at 3 p.m. at Liberty 
East Baptist Church of Roanoke. The Rev. Hollis Chambers and the Rev. Dorris 
Williamson will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with 
Quattlebaum Funeral, Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by 
her husband, Malcus Mitchell; four sons, David Mitchell of Woodland, John 
Mitchell of Oxford, Manley Mitchell of LaGrange, Ga. and Earl Mitchell of 
Roanoke; six daughters, Mrs. Byron Martin, Mrs. Joe Moore, Mrs. David Horn, Mrs. 
James Prescott, Mrs. Elmer Nichols, Mrs. Jack Cole, all of Roanoke, one brother, 
Isaac Smith of LaGrange, Ga.; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
